Day 21 : What is ''Have a thing'' in the relationship?

Ok, I wanna talk about something interesting in this article.
In the Meed's farm, we talked a lot when we were free.
Katelyn told us that the relationships between teenagers in this town have a rule.
To me, that's very interesting ey.

This is their rule steps.

Step 1. A boy and A girl started liking each other.
Step 2. They hang out for eating, movies and playing, they can have kisses, but no sex.
           They call this step 2 '' Have a thing''.
           During the '' Have a thing'', you only have a thing with one person.
Step 3. The girl have to wait for boy asking her to become boyfriend and girlfriend.
Step 4. They are in relationship - Boyfriend and Girlfriend.
Step 5. They start dating, dating for eating, movies and playing, of course they can have kisses and sex.
Step 6. Getting married.

But in that small town, they really have this rule in their relationships.

Yes, in Canada, they really do have '' Have a thing'' in the relationships.
To adults, they can have things with different people, and have sexes during the '' Have a thing''.
