BIXI service in Toronto

在多倫多，有一項設施很特別…
但我跟他…有點…不是有點…是很大的誤會！
（That's why I wanna have my own bike, don't use this rental bike anymore）

只有在DOWNTOWN裡可以使用…

rent it by your credit card.

it will give you a code

then pick up anyone you want

有沒有看到 1 2 3
key in the code you had, and wait for green light on and take the bike off from the rack.

就再把單車架上去，等綠燈亮…done!


有沒有看到上面的價格指示呀？　＄５／２４h
是不是會以為 24小時內使用，就只要加幣5元呀?
錯！ 錯！錯！　
意思是…２４小時內使用，以加幣５元計算。。。
It's cost C$5 in 0~30mins, and plus C$1.5 in 31~60mins.
It's a big big big misunderstands!!!!!

再說…用信用卡去租單車時…
就會先被收押金 C$250+15% TAX=C$287
剛好，我有設定信用卡刷卡通知。。。。

Can't fall asleep totally!!  and I can't tell!!!


After two days, I got charged CAD again ( I can't tell).
I was shocked again!   why?  How come?
我以為我的卡片被盜刷，立馬請台灣的朋友假裝是我，打去銀行詢問……
查出來是同個公司  BIXI Toronto

why they charged me twice for a rental bike?  Were you kidding me?

我一緊張  英文就會結巴…所以我請hostel的店員幫我打電話問…
呼……
店員聽我比手畫腳的說了整個故事…很鎮定地說：ok, I call them for you. no problem.

店員Allen 操著一口很濃郁的英國腔，不修邊幅的打扮，一頭亂髮…
Allen : now It's no problem, they will return C$287 to your bank in 10 workdays.
          you can relax~
I : yes, I can sleep now.  Thank you very much.
Allen : Anytime!

<補充>
我想，這公司在冬天時應該會賠錢吧?!
大家都知道加拿大的冬天可以冷到凍死人，如果有人還在這冽冷裡騎單車的話…只能說他是神經病了

話說，Allen 和我們(Carol & Chin)真的有點 小故事…

前題: 我喜歡在hostel裡早起，因為，如果有人當天退房，且還有剩下的食物時，可以放在共用區，給大家公用。
所以，我早起時…會把那個牛奶啦、香蕉啦……佔為己有!!!

一天，旅伴 chin 也跟我早起…we went to kitchen together, and found 2 pieces of toast.
土司已經冷掉了，我們想說…它被遺忘很久了吧~ 應該是別人的忘記了，且走了。


恩，我們應該可以吃吧!   <<< 有沒有覺得我們是餓死鬼?


我們把起司和果醬都塗好了，放在自己的盤子裡…
正在大啖土司時……Allen was getting into the kitchen.
一臉疑或的看烤土司機…arh?  where is it?


本來和chin講好要裝傻的，但廚房裡面只有我們三個人啊!!! 
裝什麼傻?   根本就是現行犯啊!!!


然後，chin said : I'm so sorry, this is our toast, you can take any one you want!!!
(居然這個時後，chin的英文變溜了…)
我只有在旁邊一直笑……因為實在是太embarrassed (音: 因被瑞森) 尷尬了。


…想想，住在這hostel也有十來天了，chin應該沒有撿食物的天份。
I have gift on picking up the food somebody don't need anymore!
