Canada Day is a statutory holiday throughtout Canada and is a celebration of the day in 1867 when the first colonies of British North America entered Confederation as the Dominion of Canada.
在貿易公司混了幾年，不時需要與外國公司連絡事宜，
常常都覺得歐美國家的公司，放的假都很多也很長。
老是讓我懷疑他們的上班時數夠嗎?
我猜想，這情況對於拼命加班工作的亞洲人來說真有點難理解…
再說，外國公司似乎也很能理解家庭觀念，如果家裡有事似乎都可以允假……(這個我還會再去證實的!)
今天如果還待在家的話，就太沒天理了!
就算待在hostel，也還是找不到工作…不如就出門去感受一下CANADA DAY的歡樂吧！

There was a fireworks show tonight, but we didn't see that.
Because the fireworks was starting at 10:30pm, it's so late for us.
Anyway, it's really happy day. because of FREE food!
加拿大的國定假日都是出現在周五或周一，這樣可以給人民帶來三天的假期。
這樣感覺很人性化耶~
- 復活節 Easter End of April (始於耶穌受難日)
- 維多利亞節 Victoria Day The Monday before May 25th (慶祝維多利亞女王生日)
- 加拿大日Canada Day July 1 (慶祝1867年聯邦紀念日)
- 八月公民節 August civic holiday First weekend of August (視各省而定)
- 勞動節 Labour Day The First Monday in September (象徵夏天結束、學校開學)
- 感恩節 Thanksgiving The second Monday of October (為了豐收而感恩祈禱的日子)
- 萬聖節 Halloween October 31 (非國定假日，但對小孩子來說是大活動
除了國定假日外，每個省份也有自己的假日哦～比如說：
- 紐芬蘭省
- March 第二個禮拜一：聯邦日
- March 17 : 聖派屈克節
- April 23 : 聖喬治節
- June 27 : 發現日
- July 10 : 奧蘭治黨勝利紀念日
- 亞伯達省
- February 第三個禮拜一：亞伯達家庭日
- August 第一個禮拜一：繼承日
